Press reports released last week noted that Zim Integrated Shipping Services (ZISS) has taken in charge the newly built fully cellular "Zim Moskva", the first of two 4,308 -TEU container ships ( the second to be taken in charge shortly " Zim Ukrayina") originally ordered in May 2006 from the Hanjin Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. Subic Bay, Philippines by German owner NSC Schiffahrtsgeselschaft and sold in September 2007 to Allocean, and fixed by Zim in early 2008.
The vessel has an overall length (m): 258,90, overall beam (m): 32,20 & maximum speed (Kn): 24,5, Vessel Code :ZOM, Lloyd's No. 9401776.
Press report said that the ship will "perform one rotation on the Grand Alliance soon-to-be-suspended FE-USEC SCE service."
