"The Economic Times of India" reported last week that Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd., a subsidiary of Israel Corp., lost last week a tender to acquire 49% of ABG Kolkata Container Terminal, a unit of ABG Infralogistics Ltd. located in Calcutta.
The paper reported that Two foreign shipping lines — Zim of Israel and Geneva-based Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), world’s second largest container line — were in the race to buy the stake in the port.
The Port of Singapore Authority pte Ltd. (PSA) won the tender. PSA also acquired the ABG Kandla Container Terminal.
