The charge of US$125 per TEU on exports originating in the United States for all destinations, effective as of March 15, 2010
Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. announced on Feb. 16, its plans to impose an “emergency revenue charge” of US$125 per TEU on exports originating in the United States for all destinations, effective as of March 15, 2010.
In a press release Zim said that the charge "is an interim measure taken in order to achieve rate restoration and maintain our current levels of service”.
