All ZIM vessels operating in the ZCS, NEC and FMX services will bypass Haifa and Ashdod ports until further notice
Due to severe slow downs and stoppages of work by organized labor in the Israeli ports of Haifa and Ashdod, all ZIM vessels operating in the ZCS, NEC and FMX services will bypass these ports until further notice. Vessels currently in transit to these portswill be terminating their voyages at intermediate ports and will not call Israel.
East bound ZCS, NEC and FMX voyages will be terminated at Taranto and/ or other eastern Mediterranean ports to be determined and all Israel cargo will be discharged.
Cargo interests will be required to either take delivery at the port of termination or provide instructions for carrying the cargo to its final destination against payment of additional freight and charges, once the ports in Israel will commence normal working tempo.
ZIM announced it will “use its best efforts to minimize the service disruptions and assist our customers in this process with all relatedcharges for the account of cargo interests”. All other cargo to the East Mediterranean Black Sea and Adriatic will be delivered to its final destination without disruptions.
