Mr. Udi Angel, Zim’s Chairman, has announced a major re-organization in the company’s management. The first step of the long awaited changes was announced by Mr. Angel who appointed Mr. Doron Godar as Zim’s deputy managing director.
Mr. Godar has been Israel’s Chemicals (ICL) chief business director and a board member of the Magnesium company, an ICL daughter company.
In the past Mr. Godar held directorship post at Negev Star , a Zim & ICL joint venture in shipping, specializing in dry bulk cargoes.
It is understood that Mr. Godar will be nominated by the board of directors, later on this year, to the post of director general replacing Dr. Yoram Zeba who will be promoted to deputy chairman.
Dr. Zeba, as deputy chairman, will be responsible for business development, strengthening Zim’s joint ventures in Israel & abroad as well as for the company’s overall business strategy.
