Zim Integrated Shipping Services has a focus on India

The company, with five other partners in a consortia, made a bid to develop a container terminal in the Indian city of Ennore, the 12th largest port in India
 
Israel's Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. together with five other partners in a consortia made a bid to develop a container terminal in the Indian city of Ennore, the 12th largest port in India, in southeast India just north of Chennai.
 
The six members consortia had passed the pre-sorting stage in the $1 billion BOT tender to build and operate a new container terminal at Ennore.
 
The container terminal is planned to handle 1.5 million TEU per year. The terminal is due to begin operating in 2012-2013, and the tender winner will operate it for 20-30 years.
 
Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd, a subsidiary of  Israel Corporation, has a 22% stake in the bidding partnership which also includes Japan's Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line) Ltd, Evergreen Marine Corporation (Taiwan) Ltd, and South Korea's Hyundai Merchant Marine Co. Ltd.
