Israeli ocean carrier ZIM Integrated Shipping Services said last Wednesday it is introducing a peak season surcharge (PSS) of US$175 per TEU in the trade from Asia and the Indian Subcontinent to Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea ports.
The surcharge will become effective on Aug. 1, 2009 through Oct. 31, 2009.
