The new ADX service replaces the Mediterranean Express Service (EMX) which was operated until recently by member lines of CKYH Alliance
Yang Ming (YML) through their Israeli agent Conmart (ship agents) Ltd. announced last week the inauguration of a new direct container service to and from the Far East to Israel.
The new service, named ADX, replaces the Mediterranean Express (EMX) service which was operated until recently by member lines of CKYH Alliance (Cosco, Hanjin, K-Line, Yang Ming).
The new weekly import export container service will begin on October 19th and will be operated by seven container vessels owned by YML.
Rotation of the ADX would be as below: Shanghai – Ningbo - Hong Kong – Singapore – Ashdod - Istanbul – Haydarpasa– Izmir – Singapore –Hong Kong.
In a statement issued by Conmart (ship agents) Ltd. to the Israeli shipping public the company noted that with the launching of the new ADX container service, YML will undertake to keep the level of shipping services to and from Israel. The company also noted that in addition to the new ADX all other YML services to and from Israel through Port Said will remain intact.
