Israel Shipyards Industries (ISI) published its financial results today (August 25, 2026) for the second quarter and first half of 2026, demonstrating a significant improvement across all operational and financial parameters. Net profit attributable to shareholders in the second quarter recorded a sharp jump, totaling approximately 15.6 million NIS, compared to approximately 0.7 million NIS in the corresponding quarter last year.

The Group's revenue for the quarter showed an increase of approximately 21.6%, totaling approximately 428.5 million NIS. Gross profit surged by approximately 84.1% to approximately 63.2 million NIS, while adjusted EBITDA reached approximately 60.7 million NIS.

Segment Performance in the Second Quarter

Shipyard Segment: Revenue grew by approximately 76.5% to 83 million NIS, and sectoral profit rose to approximately 14.8 million NIS. This growth is attributed to progress on the flagship "Reshef" class vessel project and the commencement of a deal to supply four vessels to a foreign government client. The segment's order backlog now stands at over 2.52 billion NIS.

Port Segment: Revenue grew by 28% to approximately 55.5 million NIS, with an 83.3% jump in sectoral profit to approximately 14.3 million NIS. The increase stems from higher discharge volumes due to the availability of an additional berth and the start of the pilot phase at the new grain silo facility for bulk unloading.

Construction Materials Segment (Ciment): Revenue rose by approximately 14.8% to 276.7 million NIS, and sectoral profit jumped by 58.1% to approximately 31.8 million NIS, primarily due to an increase in the average selling price of cement.

Maritime Transport Segment: Revenue totaled approximately 15.8 million NIS, with profit standing at approximately 2.6 million NIS. Recently, a subsidiary signed an agreement to purchase an additional large cargo ship (39,000 tons) for approximately $14.2 million.

During July 2026, the company successfully completed its first bond issuance on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, raising 200 million NIS after recording demands of approximately 970 million NIS. Additionally, the company continues to develop "Aeroneus Systems," which operates in the field of drone interception solutions, and is awaiting the results of the tender to purchase 51% of the Port of Lavrion in Greece as part of its international activity expansion.

Zvika Shechterman, CEO of Israel Shipyards Industries: "The strong results of the second quarter reflect the initial fruits of the growth engines we have worked on in recent years across all sectors of activity. We are showing revenue growth, significant improvement in operational parameters, and a surge in net profit, led by the shipyard, port, and construction materials segments. The silo project proves that investment in innovative technology streamlines discharge rates and creates a competitive and efficient alternative."
