Maersk Israel: New TEU 1800 feeder vessel to serve Port Said - Ashdod

The new ship will overcome capacity shortage due to recent changes in East West sailing schedule of several competing shipping companies
 
Maersk Israel announced last week that a new and larger feeder vessel will soon replace the present TEU 1200 capacity feeder vessel M/V Sirius serving the Port Said – Ashdod route.
 
In a press release issued by the company it was noted that the new ship will overcome capacity shortage due to recent changes in East West sailing schedule of several competing shipping companies.
 
The company also noted that the new vessel will increase capacity to Ashdod by 50% on average.
