Mediterranean Shipping Company SA (MSC) has announced service changes from Israel to Hamburg & Bremerhaven in Germany. Within the framework of the improved service the company will use the port of Felixstowe (UK) instead of Le Havre (France) as transshipment hub for north European ports.
The new upgraded export service will rely on the existing service which deploy five TEU 5000 calling at Felixstowe on a weekly fixed day service. Transit time to Felixstowe will be eight days and overall transit time to Hamburg & Bremerhaven will be 15 days. The new service commenced last week with MSC LINZIE voy.653
