A slot exchange agreement will provide the Taiwanese carrier with weekly sailings between the Far East and East – Mediterranean / Black Sea ports
Evergreen Line announced it will strengthen its coverage of the East Mediterranean and Black Sea regions, with effect from early November 2009, by cooperating with Norasia Container Lines.
The announcement noted that a slot exchange agreement involving Evergreen’s Far East-Mediterranean service (FEM) and Norasia’s Asia Black Sea service (ABS) will provide the Taiwanese carrier with weekly sailings between the Far East and East – Mediterranean / Black Sea ports.
The ABS service rotation is as follows:
Xingang – Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Xiamen – Chiwan – Port Kelang- Jeddah – Port Said – Piraeus – Istanbul – Constanza – Illichivsk- Odessa – Port Said – Port Kelang – Xingang
First Sailing: CSAV Appennini, voy: 946S estimated departure from Xingang on 9 November 2009.
The FEM service rotation is as follows:
Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Kaoshiung – Hong Kong – Yantian – TanjungPelapas - Colombo – Ashdod – Alexandria – Taranto – Genoa – Barcelona - Valencia – Taranto – Colombo – Tanjung Pelapas – Kaoshiung – Qingdao
