Medlog Haifa Logistics, part of the global MEDLOG group, concludes two weeks of operations under fire during the 'Rising Lion' operation, returning to routine with a sense of satisfaction. Despite the exceptional security challenges in the north of the country, the logistics company maintained continuous and uninterrupted activity.
During the days of combat, the company continued to store and handle containers under customs, refrigerated containers containing, among other things, medicines and emergency equipment, essential food, and industrial equipment for factories with active production lines. In addition, empty containers were directed to it for the purpose of maintaining operational availability, and inspections continued to be carried out in it by the Customs, Standards Institute, Ministry of Health and Agriculture - while maintaining protected conditions.
Avi Shubzak, CEO of Medlog Haifa Logistics, said: 'We chose to stay at the forefront - not as a slogan, but as the daily action of dedicated teams. Under the toughest conditions, we continued to provide a variety of logistics services to industry, food companies, and all government offices. Service during an emergency is a national mission - no less'.
According to Shubzak, the company's railway branch - operating 3 railway lines - continued to operate in full cooperation with Israel Railways. At the same time, the company's activity in the ports continued, including regular handling of incoming and outgoing refrigerated containers. According to him, customers received continuous service, including real-time storage of goods.
Vlad Pikus, Operations Manager of Medlog Haifa, said: 'The company's employees and workers arrived every day to provide the best service, even under fire. The moment an alert was received from the Home Front Command, we stopped the activity, and I personally made sure that all the drivers and customers entered the protected spaces. The pressure was great, but we knew that what we were doing - keeps everyone's routine'.
It should be noted that Medlog Haifa, which belongs to the global MEDLOG owned by the shipping giant MSC, is a logistics company specializing in providing logistics solutions that provide a comprehensive service envelope for importers, exporters, end customers, shipping companies, customs brokers, shipping companies, transport companies, industrial factories, government bodies and more near the port of Haifa, with large storage areas, cooled warehouses, cooling facilities, a distribution center, and a direct connection to Israel Railways.
'The company is prepared to continue operating under restrictions - with advanced infrastructures, a professional team and a mission spirit. We will continue to do this - in any scenario', Shubzak concluded.
