China Shipping inaugurated its Israeli agency

China Shipping (Israel) Agency Co. Ltd, China Shipping agency in Israel was inaugurated on 1st November.
 
The new agency replaced the old "Intermaritime" Ltd, which was the sole China Shipping agency in Israel until the end of October.
 
The new joint venture between China Shipping and Intermaritime was set up within the framework of China Shipping world wide policy to set up joint ventures with local agents.
 
Earlier this year, in a celebration to mark Intermaritime's fifth year of close business relations with China Shipping, a China Shipping representative said that his company looked at Israel as a strategic country within its mid-east activities. He added that the management of his company had clear intention to increase the company's shipping activities to and from Israel.
