Gadot Group, one of the leading companies in the field of logistics and shipping of chemicals in Europe and Israel, continues to implement environmental innovation as part of the group's sustainability strategy. Recently, Chemship, the maritime arm of the group, completed the new environmental coating stage of the Chemical Challenger - an advanced silicone coating for the bottom of the ship.

This coating reduces friction with water, contributes to fuel consumption improvement, and significantly reduces greenhouse gas (CO₂) emissions. This move is part of a whole array of sustainable solutions in the field of maritime shipping, which also include wind-based propulsion systems installed on the ship and combine renewable energy with smart maritime operation. In addition to fuel savings and emissions, these technologies contribute to reducing underwater noise pollution and minimizing the emission of toxic substances to the marine environment - in accordance with the strictest standards in the industry.

Chemship, fully owned by Gadot Group, operates a fleet of the world's most advanced chemical tankers, all equipped with stainless steel tanks, and specializes in the maritime transport of bulk chemicals to the highest standards, while maintaining safety, quality, and environment.

Ofer Linchevski, CEO of Gadot Group, stated: 'Sustainability is not a project for us - it is a policy. Our tankers operate on international lines, and we see a commitment to smart and clean transportation as part of our responsibility as an industrial and logistics corporation. We will continue to invest in green technologies, with the aim of combining advanced operational performance and compliance with ESG targets.'

Gadot Group operates a fleet of chemical ships, maritime and terrestrial ports, an advanced land transport fleet, and an industrial services system with added value. The group operates in major international markets and serves a wide range of customers in the chemical, energy, agriculture, and pharmaceutical industries.
