March 2008: Unemployment up

Adjusted unemployment figures for March 2008 show a 1.9% rise in the number of unemployed, compared with February
 
Figures published last week by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) point to the fact that seasonally adjusted unemployment figures for March 2008 show a 1.9% rise in the number of unemployed, compared with February.
 
The CBS also noted that the number of unemployed persons without a higher degree was up by 1.5%.
