Mr Lynn took part in a seminar which the Israeli ambassador said was “an outstanding opportunity to present the Israeli economy to the business sector in Norway”

Uriel Lynn, President of the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce had been invited by the Israeli Embassy in Norway to take part in a seminar:" Israel- From a Country of Milk and Honey to High-tech and Money”.

The seminar was held in Oslo on13 March 2008 by the Oslo Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Israeli Embassy in Norway. The focus of the seminar was on environment, medical equipment, security, ICT and emergency equipment.

Israeli Ambassador Ms. Miryam Shomrat said that the seminar was an outstanding opportunity to present the Israeli economy to the business sector in Norway.

Lynn, who was the guest speaker, lectured on “Possibilities in Israel” outlined Israel's economic success over the last 5 years, during which time the government embarked upon privatization policy, reducing tax burden, increasing labor opportunities as well as structural changes in the capital market.

Mordechai Ish-Shalom, Minister Economic Affairs to Sweden, Finland and Norway followed Lynn with a lecture on “Israeli economy and industry at a glance”
