Gadot Group, operating in the chemical and industrial logistics sector, recently announced the acquisition of Green Oil's oil recycling operations. Gadot's management stated that the acquisition is a significant milestone in implementing the group's strategy to expand its operations in sustainability, energy, and industrial circularity.
Green Oil, operational since 1997, specializes in recycling used oils and marketing energy products. Until recently, the factory was jointly owned by Michael Bobrov and Benny Steinmetz's son-in-law, who among other things applied for a control permit in Bazan and eventually decided to sell the factory's operations.
Gadot's management stated that the integration of Green Oil as part of Gadot's group activity is a natural move that strengthens the group's value chain and expands the industrial and logistical solutions it offers to its customers while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environment. It was also reported that the acquisition was made in January 2025, but only recently has the facility begun its commercial activity after receiving all required approvals.
Green Oil is located in the Ariel industrial area and engages in efficient and supervised recycling of used mineral oils, turning them into new raw materials and energy products, in a circular economy model. The factory's operations combine proven and well-known technological capabilities in the petrochemical market, alongside innovation and unique capabilities. This activity also significantly contributes to reducing the carbon footprint of Israel's energy industry.
The company, led by CEO Shahar Ivshkovsky, will continue to manage the operations from the Ariel site through a joint team of Israeli and Palestinian workers, who have been working side by side for many years and are a living example of cooperation, mutual respect, and a common goal.
Shahar Ivshkovsky, CEO of Green Oil: "We are excited to join the Gadot family and continue to develop the oil recycling field as part of a leading industry group. The combination of Green Oil's capabilities with the experience and power of the Gadot Group opens up new opportunities for us to expand operations, streamline processes, and provide added value to customers and the environment together."
Ofer Linchevsky, CEO of Gadot Group: "This is another important step in our strategy to expand operations in the energy and sustainability sectors. We see in this connection not only operational strengthening but also a driver for a positive impact on Israel's energy industry. Together we can offer more advanced, more responsible solutions, and above all, those that look forward. This step is part of a broader move by the group to deepen its operations in value-added areas, not only from a business perspective but also environmentally and publicly. Thanks to the combination of advanced logistical infrastructures, many years of industrial knowledge, and solutions from the world of sustainability, the Gadot Group continues to work to promote responsible innovation - as a basis for quality service, contribution to the economy, and strengthening its position as a leader in its field."
