March 2013: Sharp increase in car import

22,346 vehicles were imported to Israel during the month of March, compared to 16,578 in March 2012

Data released by the Central bureau of Statistics show that March 2013 registered sharp increase in private vehicles importation, 22,346 compared to 16,578, up 35%, in the corresponding month in 2012.

380 commercial vehicles were imported in March compared to 332 in the parallel, up 15%.

During the three months period, January –March 59,586 private motor vehicles were imported, up 8.4% compared to the corresponding three months.
