Customs foiled a plan to smuggle 40 thousands Vega tablets

The Vega tablets were traced by the cargo inspectors while the container was being screened at the port's container screening device
 
Ashdod Customs cargo inspectors managed to foil a plot to smuggle a huge shipment of Vega tablets (Generic Viagra). The tablets are known to have an effective treatment for Male Erectile Dysfunction (E.D).
 
The Vega tablets were traced by the cargo inspectors while the container was being screened at the port's container screening device.
 
The contents of the container, which was destined to the Palestinian Authority, were declared as office equipment.
 
The container was moved to the customs physical inspection yard where it was un-stuffed and the illegal shipment was traced.
 
According to a statement issued by the Customs, the inspectors found in addition to the Vega tablets large quantities of cosmetics as well as perfumes and aux de toilette.
