Imports grew to $6.4 billion from $5.9 billion and the country’s trade deficit totaled $1.5 billion in July
Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics announced last week that the county's trade deficit totaled $1.5 billion in July, widening from $1.08 billion deficit recorded in June.
Exports stood at $4.82 billion in July compared to $4.83 billion in the previous month. Meanwhile, imports grew to $6.4 billion from $5.9 billion.
Trade balance excluding ships, aircraft, diamonds and fuels was a deficit of $469.1 million. Stripping off ships, aircrafts and diamonds, the trade gap stood at $1.84 billion.
