The Central Bureau of Statistics published last Friday the Consumer Price Index (CPI). In a statement issued by the CBS it noted a rise of 1% in April. The figure was in line with analysts expectations of 1-1.2%.
The CBS noted that over the past 12 months, inflation as measured by the Consumer Price Index was up 3.1%, near the Government top limit of the 1-3% target range.
In an in depth analysis the CBS noted that almost all components of the CPI, except cucumbers and bread, rose.
