Israel and India signed last week an agreement to set up a mutual research and development fund to be funded by $1 million from each side.
The R&D fund agreement was signed by Industry and Trade Minister Ehud Olmert and Indian Science and Technology Minister Kapil Sibal.
Sibal and Olmert agreed to promote research cooperation between both countries on energy, space, biotechnology, nanotechnology and water resources.
