Swiss World Cargo said last week that following demand expressed by Israeli exporters and local freight forwarders, the company had decided to increase cargo capacity by operating only wide body jets on its routes to Israel.
In a statement issued by the company it said that the change to wide body jets was made possible following good financial results and the new aircraft that joined the Swiss fleet.
The company will replace the A320 aircraft with a new wide body aircraft adding some 20 tons to the present capacity of the morning flight which will also allow connection flights to many international destinations.
The change will come into effect as from March 2008.
