Yonatan Ivgi, who has served as the Deputy CEO of DHL Express Israel since 2013, will assume the role of CEO of DHL Express Israel, starting from February 1, 2025. Ivgi will replace Yair Biton, who has served as CEO for 11 years and recently announced his departure.
Yonatan Ivgi joined DHL Express Israel in 2008, starting as a customer account manager. Over the years, he advanced to several commercial roles in marketing and sales, and in 2013, he joined the management table as Deputy CEO.
During these years, Ivgi was a significant part of the management that led to substantial growth in market share and deepening relationships with the company's customers. From a marketing perspective, brand awareness has significantly increased, and for the past nine years, it has been among the strongest global brands in Israel. At the beginning of his career, Ivgi was responsible for establishing a unique segment for service and sales to a very small number of customers to tailor a response to complex needs for international companies. Ivgi developed and taught the e-commerce field in the company and took part in development programs and training managers and employees.
"We are proud of the way managers continue to grow and develop from within the organization," Yair Biton told us. "I am confident and proud of Yonatan's ability to lead the company to new heights and proud of the quality of the company's senior management. I am excited to see this continue."
"Firstly, I am very excited to have been given the opportunity to lead the DHL family in Israel," Yonatan Ivgi conveyed. "I promise to continue on the existing path and achieve new accomplishments. We have created a committed family in the country with robust infrastructures, I am excited about the responsibility to preserve and continue this mission to connect Israel to the world together with a talented group of people."
