It is understood that the authority had budgeted the new project at the cost of NIS 10 million.
In a press release issued last week by the Israeli Airports Authority it was noted that there is a steady increased demand for executive and private flights, which increased by 28% in 2007 compared to 2006.
The new terminal will be constructed next to the old terminal - Terminal 1.
