Several airlines operating in Israel have announced the continuation of flight suspensions to the country, following the missile fall near Ben Gurion Airport earlier this week. The Lufthansa Group, which includes Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings, has currently cancelled its flights until May 11. Air India has cancelled its flights until May 8, inclusive. Air Europa has cancelled its flights until May 7, inclusive. Wizz Air has cancelled its flights until May 8. British Airways has cancelled its flights until May 8, inclusive. LOT Polish Airlines has cancelled its flights until May 7, inclusive.
United Airlines has cancelled its flights until May 18, inclusive. ITA – the Italian airline has cancelled all its flights to the country until May 13. Air France has cancelled its flights until May 13. The Israel Airports Authority updated this morning that today, Wednesday, May 7, about 46,000 passengers will pass through Ben Gurion Airport on 280 international flights, incoming and outgoing. According to the spokesperson, a total of about 22,800 passengers left on international flights today, and about 23,200 passengers will enter Israel.
