Cargo movement at Ben Gurion Airport showed signs of recovery in July. According to data from the Airports Authority, a total of 35,531 tons of cargo were transported in July 2025, representing a growth of 15.92% compared to July 2024, when 30,651 tons of cargo were transported.
The data shows that there was a decrease of 10.74% in cargo transported by passenger planes in July due to the fact that some airlines were not active during this month. The total cargo amounted to 8,883 tons, compared to 9,952 tons in July last year.
However, there was a sharp increase of 28.74% in cargo transported by cargo planes in July, with a total of 26,648 tons of cargo, compared to 20,699 tons in July 2024.
From January to July 2025, there was a moderate growth of 4.85% in total cargo movement, amounting to 208,800 tons, compared to 199,135 tons during the same period last year.
