Following the expansion of aviation activity in Israel, Ben Gurion Airport is recording significant momentum this week with the return of several foreign airlines to regular operations. According to the Israel Airports Authority (IAA), the process is being carried out gradually and in accordance with security directives.

Airline Return Schedule This Week:

Today (Sunday, 12.4): Bulgarian airline VBB returns to activity with a daily flight operated for Blue Bird.

Tuesday (14.4): Return of Tus Airways.

Wednesday (15.4): Return of aviation giants Etihad Airways and Ethiopian Airlines.

Additionally, the Israel Airports Authority notes that advanced negotiations are underway for the return of more companies, including flydubai, as early as the coming week. Due to the weekend and holidays in Europe, the full operational picture is expected to become clearer in the coming days.

The Israeli Minister of Transport, Miri Regev, commented on the move, stating: "The return of foreign airlines will allow the Israeli public to return to flying to a wider variety of destinations. We will continue to work to increase the supply of flights."

The Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Transport, Moshe Ben-Zaken, added that the return of the airlines is the result of intensive work with regulatory bodies in Israel and around the world to ensure transportation continuity.

Yiftah Ron-Tal, Chairman of the Israel Airports Authority, noted that the return reflects confidence in the Israeli aviation system: "We will continue to support the process and ensure a safe and efficient operational infrastructure."

The Israel Airports Authority emphasizes that the public should update themselves directly with the airlines regarding exact schedules before arriving at the airport.
