El Al's 17th Dreamliner aircraft landed in Israel on Friday, joining the company's fleet of wide-body aircraft. These aircraft are primarily used for transatlantic flights. The Boeing 787-9 model, named 'All the House of Israel', is designed with El Al's new paint scheme already present on some of the company's 737 aircraft. The design emphasizes El Al's colors and the Israeli flag. The aircraft, which has 293 seats, will allow El Al to increase its seat supply and respond to increasing demand.

Unlike El Al's 45 passenger aircraft, all named after cities and towns in Israel, the company chose to give the aircraft the name 'All the House of Israel', a quote from the scriptures expressing a prayer for the return of all those kidnapped to Israel.

The colors of the Israeli flag were renewed on the tail of the aircraft, and El Al's logo was refreshed, as part of the company's vision to strengthen the connection with the Israeli public and proudly represent Israel worldwide. The painting process is part of a regular maintenance policy and a renewed branding for the company's aircraft fleet. In addition to the visual upgrade, the new paint provides a vital layer of protection against corrosion, weather damage, and natural wear and tear, and is carried out according to the strict standards of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

As part of El Al's strategic plan published in 2023 and recently updated, El Al is working to increase its aircraft fleet and their size, expand the destination map, alongside the integration of new technologies, with the aim of significantly upgrading the service and flight experience, while emphasizing environmental quality according to global ESG indices. As part of this, El Al signed for the purchase of up to nine new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Simultaneously, the narrow-body aircraft fleet is expected to be renewed and grow after the company announced in August 2024 its largest procurement deal in history, according to which the company will purchase up to 31 Boeing MAX737 aircraft.
