The new route is part of the carrier's strategic plan to reinforce internal routes and adding external ones
Air France/KLM announced last week that it will inaugurate a Marseilles - Tel Aviv route as from September 5, 2012.
This is part of the French carrier's strategic plan, launched in October 2011, to reinforce internal routes in France, while adding new ones.
The planned Marseilles - Tel Aviv route is part of a wider commercial offensive to operate 1,200 weekly flights from Nice, Marseille, Bordeaux and Toulouse to all over the world, and launch more than 50 new routes to vacation destinations in France and the Mediterranean Basin next year.
The new flight route will commence with three weekly flights on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
Air France will operate a 178-seat Airbus 320 on the route. The new route follows the inauguration of the Tel Aviv-Nice route in April.
